Post Air Disrupters?? vs. Temperature

I bought a 914 a little over a year ago, it had a rusted out floorpan (no suprise). Well, I solved that problem by replacing it, but along with the original metal went the air disupters?? (I'm not sure of the technical name). Anyway, now that summer is approaching, it seems the car runs a little warm. Is the lack of these diverters cause the engine to run warmer, or should I look somewhere else? Also, if these are that necessary, does anyone have a source, or can tell me the size, so I can make my own?

I take it you mean the two flaps mounted on the tray in front of the engine?
Yes they are an important in keeping your engine cool. I want to say that they are called air splitters.... Shoot, can't find my Haynes book. These have to be mounted in specific spots. Pelican has a mounting diagram of how to mount these.
Dang, let me find my book and I'll post again.
