Adj. inserts for Bilstein RSR struts??
I have a 914 race car with Bilstein RSR struts with custom valved Bilstein inserts. The shocks don't offer the range I like due to spring/track changes. Does anybody know of a DIY install for adjustable inserts for these struts??

Bilstein in San Diego (Poway) will revalve your shocks, but that is no help to you at the track.
I installed the Koni 8610-1149 strut insert into the OE 911 Koni struts I had on my 914/6, they should work with the RSR Bilstein as well. This insert is adjustable for rebound only using a tool at the top of shaft. They are universal fit racing parts made to be custom fitted to existing struts. You have to usually machine a spacer to fill the gap between bottom of your strut well and bottom of the new insert. Koni then offers a selection of 7 different top nuts to fit the top of your strut. Email me privately if you want dimensions of the insert.
