Default 912 1969 thoughts?

Hi All, I'm from Sydney Australia, I'll be in California in early July and was going to look around for a 912 to purchase and take back to Oz with me.

I quite like this car and was wondering if people can give me some advice on it, has anyone seen it up close?

Many thanks

if going 912, might as well be a SWB. And a 3 guage if you can.

What years are the SWB 912s? Would a 68' be a SWB? I only ask because I've been looking and came across a real nice 68' 912.

1965-1968 are short wheel base.
It is basiclally a short wheel base 911 for a fraction of the price. But they are climbing... so hurry.

1965-1966 had only 3 guages on the dash. Very simple, very rare and very cool.

Id say that is a nice find. Price depending of course.
Rare to find anything like that nowadays so it is hard to say no for the right price.

Personally, if im going 912, Im going short wheel base or nothing.

Robert,

I own a very original paint, car. 1969 912 with a 5 speed. I live in San Francisco. Let me know if interested. The car is silver.
