912 "Restorer" location?
My three 911s date from 2012 back to 1996. My buddy just purchased a late 60's 912. I know nothing except what they are. He may need a shop with experience for some of the restoration. The car is running, with 133,000 miles. He will be taking delivery in the next several weeks, and I won't see it until then. Any advice on shops with experience, preferably within a days drive of Louisville, KY would be appreciated. So Chicago, Nashville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, ..., even Atlanta?
Thank you ahead of time for any help. I will get a pic or two on here when he takes delivery, and get him to join!

I have a 66 912 which I have owned and stored for several years but now just starting full restoration project - planning to DIY it as much as I can. I am in the Ville also. There are a few 912's around in various conditions. I don't have info on restoration shops nearby, but if you want to pm me with his name and contact info maybe we can meet up and a least share war stories along the way.

there are some really nice 911 specific restoration shops in the USA. Most are not cheap.
Depends on how the owner wants the finished product.
My shop is in Florida and we will be doing my 1969 this winter with room for another.
