I dropped off my daughter at UC Davis yesterday and while heading back to the coast on Russell Blvd to Winters, a 912 pulled out in front of me at around 2:45pm.

It may have been a '68 (Coupe), perhaps in Peru Red (although I am probably wrong on year & color). It must live in that area because it had not warmed up and was taking it easy and while I could've passed it at will, it was wonderful to follow a member of the family. When we got to the end of the road, the driver turned northeast and I headed west but I was hoping for at least a thumbs-up but got the cold shoulder instead.

Here is a pic and if anyone is familiar with the vehicle, please let the pilot know that the 997.2 was trying to share the love.

Thanks...I only had my iP6 with me but the higher resolution camera in it is pretty good in a pinch.

It would've been nice to park the two cars together for a moment but no such luck; I often wonder if some in the air-cooled camp are reverse snobs?!
