Hi All,

I have been reading a few of the posts on this forum in regards to 912, firstly i am a long term fan of the 912 but i have never own one. I do and have own other classic 911s. But thought i would see how many use their 912 as a daily drive and how realistic are they to use as daily drive ?

Please assume that if/when i but one it would be thoroughly checked and maintained.

Several guys in the 912bbs.org forum using their car as daily drivers... so yes!

Certainly can be a DD, but there are better cars for mundane driving than the 912.

My plan is to use it as a daily driver... and once I finish the other projects they will all share daily driving role... why drive a boring car ever again?

Aratapuss...yes there are other cars which could be use as a daily drive and i have a couple of other cars which i enjoy driving. I believe all cars should be driven and use not just looked at.

I am looking to add this to the other cars i have and enjoy the driving experience.

Jaime your post is what inspired me to ask this question.........i am really impressed with your restoration of your 912.

Hey, I got a barn full of cool driving cars, but when I go to the hardware store, stuff does not fit in my 912 at all. That is why, as an example, it pays to have a more mundane car for those times.

Yeah i agree on that one, thats when i borrow my brothers Ute.

Was really seeing if they are practical enough to be used as a daily drive. ( except when needing to go to the hardware store )
