Default Trying to get up to speed on Weber carbs.

Looking for help on tuning Weber 40 IDF carbs. Just rebuilt, prior to rebuild would idle OK with an occasional pop and run good over 2k rpm but would bog and die when accelerating. After rebuild its better and doesn't die on acceleration but still getting some popping on idle and still slow to accelerate .

Tried to sync the carbs, the driver side carbs the air flow is the same on both throats but on the passenger side carb the flow is quite a bit different between cylinder I and II 7 and 10 on my weber sync.

How can I sync the air flow between the front and back carb on the same side?

Tried playing with the air bypass adjustment next to the mixture adjustment screw but not sure if that is the correct adjustment.

Checked the timing and it seems to be OK, have not adjusted the valves yet.
