I believe the color code is Tobacco Metallic Clearcoat (L464) and looks like the below examples. Its a needle in a hay stack but hey, if we can't find it through RL, then where else..........and yes, the top image is from a Swedish drama my wife is addicted to.

Take a look on pelican, there is a post that contains pics of most of Porsche browns. I don't think either of those pics you posted are even close to tobacco brown metallic, the long hood looks like olive to me.

I'm pretty sure I just saw that color on eBay just recently. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I would have linked you to it. I remember it bc the color caught my eye. I have a soft spot for nice brown colors on cars. Not to many out there.

For some reason this last post is the first notice I have received regarding the thread.
No luck so far.

Although the name fits, the Olive Green on the porsche chart (912 Registry) is more like an actual green olive than this camo-looking color.

I too have been scanning Ebay but have not seen this color, only some chocolate browns and such.

correction. Phil, you were spot on.
just saw an actual "olive" 911S paint sample and that IS IT!
now to find one or a paint worthy candidate.............
