Default pre 70s 912s in Charlotte area?

Hi guys. I currently own an S2000 that I'm trying to sell. I'm considering replacing it with an early 912 and was wondering if there are any owners in the Charlotte area? I'm in Huntersville specifically but would love to meet up and get lunch to discuss the ins and outs of owning a 912. If willing, I'd really appreciate a ride in the passenger seat to see what it's like. The oldest Porsche I've ridden/driven in was a 964 and I loved it. I'm sure it will continue through but I'd like to be sure. My name is Kevin. Number is (937)545-0114 if you'd be willing to meet. I can take some good pictures of your car in return

Thanks!

Hey Jeff,
When it gets in, be sure to bring it out to coffee at Briar Creek. Look forward to seeing it.

I live in Rockwell, near Salisbury and took delivery of my '67 912 yesterday. It may not be what you are looking for as it has a 3.0 motor & tranny from a 911SC. The donor SC also contributed power windows, power brakes, inertia three point harness, SC gas tank w/collapsible spare, SC fog lights(will be removed), and SC gauges. It also has aftermarket mirrors that I will probably replace. The car was owned for 30 years by a California gentleman. Since it was a California car, it has all of the smog equipment including the air pump and catalytic converter. I have a backdate exhaust on the way.

So it is a hot rod 912 that I may badge as a 912-6.
