It looks clean from the pictures. What do you think it's worth ? I would say some where in the low to mid 20's but, that's with out knowing the history or anything else expect what you gave us. Hopefully others will chime in as I could be way in left field with this one.

I think ECS is close as-is. Car looks good.
But (with all due respect) you named this thread "finally bought one" then start asking about a car like you have YET to buy it. We dont do well with crossed signals in the 912 area.
FWIW my '67 - fully restored will be valued just south of $50k. So use that for food for thought.

Okay now your talking. Welcome aboard.
The Hagerty price guide / market trend report is really well thought out. It uses actual selling prices documented via auction or personal sale. Its a good pulse for the market.
Try it:

As for me (expert?) I have posted several 912's here within the last several months that have sold for strong money. Thirties & up are becoming the norm for a long hood Porsche. You got in at the right time no matter what you paid.
And while we are on that subject... What did you pay new owner guy? Cause THAT will tell you whats its worth all by itself.

i have owned a '66 and '69 912. The price is all about what you do not know as with any vintage car. Engine, body and chassis condition as well as if all the electrical systems function. You might be "on top" or "upside down" depending on these variables. If it is well sorted, a very enjoyable car. Fun to drive because slow feels fast and the driver feedback is very pure. One must be aware of the limitations that the stock 1600cc engine had and the routine maintenance required by the owner to keep it happy. Best of luck.
