Thanks for the interest. Getting closer. Body-shop confirmed March. Then I get the fun of reassembly.

Okay guys. Real close. It was headed for final prime last week but we pow-wowed and decided on a few spots of filler to get it over the top Vs just reassembling as it was. So minor delay.

It will get final prime & some of the loose pieces may get painted this week.

Jambs & window openings all bare now. Its full naked. Nice clean metal too. Pretty lucky. Think about that... 1967 - 912 - and good condition. I hate to say rare but there are a lot of less than nice twelves out there. I am liking this one a bunch.

The body shop got busy, and my car has sat & sat. I visit it now & then to let them know I am waiting... I may stop in again today and let them know the 912's fans are wanting more. I am ready to have it back.

the removable panels square measure sent to the media workman...

Fenders, front bumper, doors, engine lid, boot lid, one rear bumper extension (the different are going to be replaced with a brand new NOS half, same goes for the registration number plate space metal piece).

Next I weld in an exceedingly tiny spot on the rocker panel...

No... Actually next is paint.

Block sanding each coast of primer was the last step completed.

Each small step is what it takes to do this right. You aught to try it.
