Schadpole

Next week I am inheriting my uncle's '68 912 targa with soft rear window. He is the original owner, and the car is pristine.

With 2 young kids I don't have time to work on it myself. It would not be a daily driver, so I won't be adding many miles, but I do want to maintain it properly.

Anyone know of reliable & reasonable mechanic(s) in the north bay above San Francisco? I'm in Sonoma County. Thanks for any input.

high tech in san rafael is great. been there twice during cross country trips and several friends in the bay area use them

Congratulations!!, that is one of the more sought after cars out there!! hands down the grail of 912s. Drive it and enjoy it.
