Default 1984 911/930 twin turbo

Hey guys heres a list of specs on my 930 that I recently bought.

3.3l flat 6 twin spark motor
twin garret ar50 turbos
gt2 cams
standard pistons, modified intake manifolds
B tech racing intercooler & manifold
gotech pro engine management with 4 tower coil
1000hp upgraded brake system

car made 362 hp the last time it was on a dyno @ .8 bar boost on 95 pump fuel

at this time the cars fueling is a mess and it will have to be tuned correctly

my plan is to do everything to make this car as fast as possible before I start the process of tuning the car.

I don't have any idea what is going on inside this car and I'm doing as much research as I can.

I would love to get this car at around 800 to 1000bhp with a reliable strong motor.

If anyone has experience with this and would like to give me some advice on how to get this car to make big power it would really be appreciated.

Ill post some pics when I'm working on the car tomorrow.

Knowing who did the original build would help with sorting it out. Those^ guys are premier shops with big hp air-cooled cars. I've come close to pulling the trigger on one several times over the years and have spoken to Todd at Protomotive and David at Proto-Tech about cars they've built. Todd is one of the best turbo tuners out there, don't let his ghetto website fool you, almost all his business is word of mouth. I'd probably call him first. Never heard of gotech, are you sure it's not MoTec?

Also, you might want to start a thread on 6speed, that site is popular with owners of big hp frankencars. Good luck.

I'd hit up todd at promotive or Chris at turbokraft, as nboost noted. 1000hp, 30yr old engine and reliability don't necessarily go together. I'd suggest a more reasonable 5-600 hp objective that is fast and reliable. These cars and engines can be extremely expensive to repair, especially a one off twin turbo hybrid, I'd budget 25-35k (min) to get the motor/ trans/ fuel/ ignition system up to snuff to attain big hp. Good luck either way.

+1, I've been for a ride in a 930 that made about 600 wheel on pump gas. If you want more than that on that platform you are most likely certifiably insane. That car rearranged my organs.

I have a Protomotive built 911 turbo and they are reliable, fun and fast cars. I have a 650hp build and that is plenty. I have had multiple conversations with Todd and they are always amazing.
