i know a shop in canada with a 1978 50k mile 930 turbo that will be going for sale as soon as they finish the mechanical resotration.
It is a white car currently painted red.
Would make a great driver or a straight forward car to repaint back to original white.

Just humming the general refrain that any odo claim on aircooled 911s should be considered anecdotal without continuous supporting documentation. Odo modifications are trivially easy, and often not nefarious: the drive gear fails early, and the odo sits idle for many years/miles before repair.

I pulled my 94 out of storage the other day and the ABS light was on, huh, no big deal, probably a fuse. As I was driving to my house I noticed the speedometer wasn't working, what the...? That's weird I thought. Got it home, started running fuses down, replaced the ABS fuse and the speedometer/odometer functions again.
Now that I've made that public I guess I'll have to disclose upon sale that the mileage is the odo reading + 15 or so, lol. Incredibly simple to forge even on the 964.
