Here's a better picture of the actual color...the previous one under the fluorescent lights made it look like French Vanilla ice cream, whereas, it's actually much lighter than that. The color is called Plantation White.

Love the fact that you stayed with the original Plantation White. Such a great unique color. The finished product will no doubt be wonderful based on everything seen so far.

Thanks...I couldn't be more pleased with the results so far. I'm 28 months into the restoration and chomping at the bit to get it finished.

Thanks...yes, I'm glad I listened to reason and stayed with the original PTS. It was hard to envision how sweet it was going to finally look when I first got it. The original paint was so dull and washed out from years in the sun that it was hard to imagine how nice it would look re-painted. It's why I had it taken down to bare metal. The new paint has certainly exceeded my expectations, that's for sure.

I plan to start posting pics as it's reassembled...here are a couple of the reflector and tail lights going in.

And, one of the new dash...not fitted just yet, but shows what a nice job Autos International did on the refinish.

Good time to read the production number under the radio opening.

Amazing! I just picked up 78 turbo. I was thinking about keeping it as it is but your thread makes me want to restore it.

That car looks remarkable. Sweet color combo and looks to be top notch work all around.

Congrats!
