Love the color, I'm glad you decided to keep it original. The interior wok looks amazing. Post some body shop pics when you get some.

Been a while since I updated this thread. Attached are some additional photos of the body priming, engine and Fuch's restoration. It's coming along. Enjoy!

Coming along nicely! What exterior color did you decide?

(By the way, it is amazing that more than 2 years has gone by since the original post...man, time flies...)

Staying with the original PTS color, Plantation White. It's a cross between Porsche's medium and light ivory.

Yep, I know what you mean about the time. But, waiting on my 930 to finish has definitely made it feel longer, but it's all good. Hopefully, I'll get her back in the next few months.

Did you re-anodize the wheels?

Yep, they were re-anodized. I haven't seen them in person yet, but hope to soon. The pictures certainly look good, though.

If you are now in Alexandria, I would love to see this car when it is done. I am eventually taking stewardship of my dad's 89 930 that he brought home on my birthday in 1988. It is a Florida car. We are near park fairfax, basically the quaker lane exit.... I also have a nearly finished 86 951 track car project sitting in my garage...

Who did you use to refinish the fuchs? I need to do that for ours. I used them as track wheels for years and they are pretty beat...not bent, just beat....

Sure, be glad to show it to you once it's finished. Unfortunately, I don't have that date just yet. It's roughly 75% complete. Just needs paint and then to be reassembled. Everything else has already been restored...just waiting for the body.

I'm not sure who my restorer used for the Fuchs, but I'll ask the question when I speak to him this week.

Well, here she is freshly painted. Hopefully, the reassembly process can begin soon.

Excellent job on that interior work! Best I've seen yet.

Thanks for your comment. I've seen the interior in person and it truly is top-notch work. I've included a few more pics...at the angle you can see how well the seats were reupholstered. Palo Alto did a fantastic job on the gauges as well. Also, new RE11s for the Fuchs.
