have to sell 77 930
A change in job forces sale. At least I have my 914-6. I'll post some better pictures, but the windshield is out right now. 77 930. 107K miles. Silver with lobster leather. Engine was rebuilt & new clutch less than 10K ago. Just put $5K into shocks, tie rods, tires, etc. and had it tuned. The dash and the rear deck are being re-covered. Should be done in two weeks. The only mods as far as I know are exhaust, blue tooth stereo, Ruf wheels and steering wheel. Sunroof doesn't work. AC has been refurbished by PO, but it's not working. Other than that, great car. I want it to go to someone on Rennlist or PP. I HATE DOING THIS!

Looks like an ok car but I must be missing something.....150-175???
Is the underneath gold plated? That ice green that sold last week on eBay with half the miles and no issues only bid 61k
Maybe I am overlooking something. Lol

not familiar w/ the ice green car on e-bay. no way a good 75-77 w/ no issues would trade for $61k unless the owner was living in a cave and had no idea of the market price trends.

I think we are overhyping the values on these cars a bit based on a few spectacular sales of the best cars (e.g. super low miles and 1975 930s). Those $100k-150k+ numbers only apply to exceptionally nice, original and unmodified 930s with low miles.

I think ebay is a good place to start, you'll get world wide exposure. Keep reserve high so at least you'll get some idea where market is. A similar car sold on ebay 6 months ago for $80k, I don't think market has doubled since then but you never know.

thank you!!!!!!! i have sold a few cars over the past years..yes the porsche market is really hot right now but the hype in the past few months has gotten out of control and is being driven by people who dont have a clue......say what you want how that car is worth 150-175k there are a whole lot of things id spend my $$$ on before i dropped that kind of dough on a 1977 turbo with 100k miles and the wrong wheels windshield out etc.....
sure is starting to resemble the real estate market in south florida a few years back where everyone thought the market would never drop!
