Thank you. It is brand new from 1989. It was, however, built for me and took over two years to do so.

Bob's car being the last and probably one of the most significant 930's produced by Porsche of that era I am surprised there is no mention of it in your book. Or am I missing something? Other than that it is a truly stellar accomplishment.

Cobalt, I totally agree! We are doing books since 2010, and every years we learn that there are so many interesting new Porsche (for us) with interesting owners and stories.

Default New review by "Thomas Nehlert"!

There´s a new review out by Thomas Nehlert for our Turbo-Book.
It will be the last and final edition:

have a nice sunday,
Andreas

"Supplement: All previous meetings, my December 2012 relate to the first edition of the book. Meanwhile, the greatly expanded second edition of the end of 2015 is offered as a "Limited Edition" and on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Turbo. Andreas Gabriel - now together with Norbert Franz - the thoroughly revised without exaggeration as the standard work on the air-cooled turbos to be designated book and expanded to 70 pages to 268 pages now. In the text, there is now an additional chapter on the 930 Turbo S by Sonauto. Furthermore, the text has been slightly modified in some places and supplemented. In addition to the very noble presentation of the band in an attractive slipcase are numerous other photos of various turbo models added. It is excellent, mostly large format photographs from private archives. These pictures are published for the first time without exception. Overall, the book has won in this edition sharply again appeal."

I've never seen anything like this. I have driven 930s brand new back in the day, and your car *now* makes them look used *then*, if that makes any sense. To see it in person must be life-changing.

Jase.

Thank you! Good to read this!

Yes, I like to write special signatures to the Porsche-Enthusiasts.

It is a book from Porsche-Lovers to Porsche Lovers.

There is a message field in the webshop and you can send
me the text, or the name of the person for the signature:

have a good week,
Andreas

Default R.I.P. Peter W. Schutz

Peter W. Schutz was not the saviour of the Porsche 911, but he was very important for the development of the 911 in the early 80-ies.

Bernd Kahnau (project manager of the 993) told me that it was the idea of Peter W. Schutz to bring the 5-speed-transmission in the last model year of the 930.

Rest in Peace Peter W. Schutz !!!

Default Sales brochure 911 Carrera 4 widebody "30 years of excellence"

I have one question, maybe one of my RL-friends can help me, and of course I am willing to pay for it:

After the G-model book released in 2017/12, review by PCA here:

https://www.pca.org/news/2018-04-03/...ears-1974-1989

we are just working on the 964 book (30 years / 1988 - 2018).

We would like to print parts of the sales brochure for the 964 Carrera 4 Turbolook "30 years of excellence".

Is there anybody who has the brochure or who has very good pictures, possible to print in a high quality book?

I will pay for pictures or the brochure,

thank you,
Andreas
