Default In need of a reverse gear set

Cliffs notes:
I tore down my 930 box about a year/half ago, ordered parts, then got really busy moving my shop etc.
Sent the box out to a fellow rebuilder who was hurting for business as a sort of favor/timesaving measure
Got the box back a few weeks later looking spiffy and put it away until I got the shop sorted out and could turn my attention back to it.
Earlier this summer I made the hard choice between cutting the torsion tube or shortening the box to fit, deciding to have G Box shorten the box up
Sent the box to G Box in Boulder (right down the street) to be shortened
Wait for it...

Yesterday I got the unpleasant news that they found a few things wrong with the box:
The main bearing was overheated on installation, probably wont last more than a few sessions
The 2nd and 3rd dog rings were pressed on without heating them at all, resulting in them needing to be honed for a proper fit
But worst of all, the reverse gear in my freshly rebuilt 930 box is in fact thrashed, and according to Stan and Erik would likely break the first time I slammed it into reverse!

So, I need a servicable reverse gear set for a 930- anyone out there know of anything?

Sorry to hear about that. Do any of the usual gear mfgs make reverse gears or just forward gears? Other than that, I guess you've tried the usual dismantlers?

New OEM and some aftermarket reverse gears are available, have not as yet made the rounds of the dismantlers as I first wanted to see if someone out there had one left over from a build. If all else fails Erik has one stashed away I can buy at a reasonable price.

I have most internal parts from an 87 930 transaxle available. The front nose and rear case parts were damaged in an accident, but the internals (less LSD) all look to be in very nice condition. The car had 43k miles and while the syncros are starting to show a bit of wear, the dog teeth and gears all look great with no excessive wear or damage.

Stock Gears:
1st FA 16:36 $200
2nd NU 23:30 $200
3rd SP 28:25 $200
4th WK 32:20 $200
3pc Reverse set $150
Final R&P 9:38 $450

Middle Case $400

Stub Axles $350

Other misc internals available as well at 25% of new price.

All prices include shipping to US

Thanks
