Default Fabspeed 911 Turbo 930 Headers and Muffler Package

Fabspeed 911 Turbo 930 Headers and Muffler Package

Fabspeed wants to remind everyone who owns a Porsche 930 Turbo of our Header Muffler kit that is available. Our Header Muffler kit is intended for track and street use because it doesn’t use any cats and is designed for maximum power and sound. The package consists of our T304SS Headers with heater boxes, single inlet/dual outlet muffler, Drip accumulator with double swivels, Aeroquip lines with all adapters and hardware included. The Header Muffler kit will eliminate the 39 LB Stock Header, the heavy 34 Lb muffler with the stock cat and replace it with our 15 Lb Fabspeed muffler and 17.5 Lb Header to maximize weight reduction with the least amount of restriction and backpressure. The 930 is a car that requires a much less restrictive Header and exhaust so the Turbo comes on faster, sooner and makes the car much happier. If you are looking for a new exhaust for your track car or street car that sounds aggressive saves lots of weight and makes ultimate horsepower this is the option you want.

Hey Steve the 930T looks great--let me know when you're ready to order the headers as we have to modify to fit the larger Garrett turbo. Also I heard through the grapevine that you we're featured in Supercars Exposed with EVOMS.

Well my car was featured. I can't wait to see the episode. I was unfortunately out of town while they were filming. I am ready to order the headers. Todd should be calling you today or tomorrow. You might as well start modifying a set for me.

Just one question... how are those headers "equal length"? Those to me look like shorty, unequal length headers... just FYI...

Turbobrat, good catch. I must of spaced a little when doing the write up, but they are not equal length headers, they are shorty headers that use F1 Merge collectors for maximum flow and scevenging.
Thanks

I just purchased a 79 930. It has some headers w/out heat exchangers and a twin zork type tube ( no cats).

I want to replace the headers with some that have heat exchangers and a proper sport exhaust. I will eventually do K27 and upgraded intercooler.m

Fabspeed? SS? TR? B&B?

Fabspeed interests me but the RWHP claims are confusing and hard to believe. Loos like if I did headers, exhaust, air filter, k27 and intercooler...I would get 100 whp ?

60-70whp would probably be all. Air filter will not add much. A .9 or a 1 bar boost spring would probably be needed as well as a Brian Leask adjustable warm up regulator. A euro or modified fuel head(with bigger fuel lines) should get you close(along with the mods already mentioned) to the 100whp mark.

Too many increase air flow but do nothing about additional fuel flow..this is a recipe for disaster..detonation due to leaning out..just my 2 pennies...

I think the 78-79 engines have the bigger fuel head?

Do you have any numbers comparing Factory EURO Headers to your kit listed above?

Alex,

Nice looking piece.
I assume that these are designed in PA, but where are these manufactured....USA, Germany, Mexico, China ?
If you note this in your original post, my apologies for not seeing it !
