Anyone got pictures of cars shooting or throwing flames?

I will see if I can get the guys to take one on the dyno. Every time we tune an EFI kit on the dyno we shoot flames. It is great. The guys jump a foot!

That first one is from the mosport club race this year. That car was in the lead when it dumped oil all the way down the hill. Rick D. and Eugene McG both hit the oil slick. Eugene's car actually rolled, but was able to race the next day. They showed the whole sequence during the awards dinner on Sat. Amazing pictures,

When you lift off the gas, unburnt fuel gets dumped and ignitied by the heat in the turbo.

Apparently this can be a problem. Although I've never seen it, supposedly there is a Turbo 3.6 here in Lexington and the owner has replaced the rear bumper several times due to these flames. He's currently having some custom pipes made that point downward to try and solve the problem. Seems like the flames will still lick upwards.
