All bearings aren't created equal, OEM, ***, and SKF are all solid, there are others as well, do what your comfortable with.

We use *** brand bearings in our "kit". SKF is good as well. Not sure I'd pay the premium to get it in a Porsche box.

agreed .. id feel pretty confident with a bearing from ***

anyone have the spec on that seal ? probably easiest to just buy local if I can get it since i'm just repacking me.

The part number is 477.405.641. It's been used on a ton of applications over the years including 356, 914, 911, 928 and 944. A cross reference number is 043.451

You usually can't go wrong with original Porsche parts.

You should use a synthetic beating grease on the install. Here's an article I wrote about the types of grease.
