Is this the car that was at Euro Classics ?

I thought it looked like a very nice car at a very fair price.

All that car need is to loose the center caps and to gain longer lug studs and open zinc plated steel lug nuts.

If you buy them from a Porsche supply house they will be 2X or 3X the price of buying the same items from a Hot VW supply shop

https://europortparts.com/catalog/pr...view/id/389179

Wow, here's a screamin' deal:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/3911874...&ul_noapp=true

Wish I could remember what length studs I used. The rears are limited by the parking brake unless you pull the hubs out. I think its 70mm. Harbor Freight has a nice ball joint puller that works wonders to press out the old studs.

Wasn't that car at Parade last year in Vermont owned by a young man from New Jersey?

Congratulations on being back in an air cooled . Have my 2012 Spyder as the closest thing to modern and my '83 well "massaged" SC which is nothing short of a joy to drive

Default F4 Pilot...

Any chance you served with the 555th TFS? A very good friend of mine flew the F4 in that squadron in the early 70s out of Thailand.

I also met Steve Ritchie at a business meeting several years back.
