Default Living w/ Pepita

Thinking about redoing my seats and using pepita centers from lakewell. While i love the look, coming from leather, i question the durability and comfort of Pepita. For those of you with pepita seats, what are you thoughts....do they stain easy? Are they breathable or do they get hot? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

I replaced the corduroy inserts with wool houndstooth from Eric Linden which is no longer available. It is very high quality which I think is critical to how the fabric wears and how it holds up. I can't exactly recall how long it been, but 8-9 years for sure and it's still good as new. Granted, my 911 isn't a daily driver but I've been very, very happy with the material. It's soft, not hot in the summer and cozy in the cooler weather (San Diego winters aren't exactly cold), and it has stayed clean. I would highly recommend a similar application to you. Check the Early S Registry; someone else has taken on the task of sourcing high quality houndstooth (pepita). I can't recall his name, he may be in England so do a search.

The pepita will hold up well but not as god as the velvet pascha that will last basicly forever! That's why they used velvet i trains and buses in the old days! You don't even have to clean it!
