Default DYI Servicing

I'm ordering a 991.2 soon, my first 911. I've always done my own maintenance and plan on getting a mid-rise scissor lift for this auto. I will log everything and keep all receipts. Any issues with Porsche if warranty work is needed?

Might want to ask your question(s) on the 991 Forum.

It's hard to see an issue, if you properly document your servicing. You could keep e-records and supplement the receipts and documentation with photos. You would still likely want to take it in for PCM readouts and updates, unless you have a PIWIS.

i think with any business trying to maintain high levels of profitability they will try to pay out as little as they can and look for reasons to cut costs.

Take that statement for what it is ..

May not be the same but somewhat related .. I know someone who was denied warranty work on their Porsche because they put on an aftermarket exhaust so Porsche said the warranty was now void. ( I think it was a leaking RMS issue . )
