Default Newbie with a mid year.

Hey guys! I came over from the BMW world to the air cooled world. My project is a 76 911S Targa. It has been sitting in a garage for the past 15 years. I was able to purchase for a steal back in June. As of right now. I got the engine running, before I pulled it to replace all the seals. The head bolts and timing components have already been replaced. I have new heat exchangers coming and saving up for an 11 blade fan. As far as the outside goes, she need new paint and it has some surface rust by the rear window and by the front windshield, No rust anywhere else! I have started working on the interior and just finished fixing all the sun faded spots and my seats are at the Upolstery shop. Slowly but surely she's coming back to life!

6 or 7 years ago nobody would've bothered with a car like that. Great to see people showing the Middies some love and getting them back out on the road! Hopefully you'll keep us updated on your progress.

Some people may think I paid too much. But I paid 10k for it. Which I thought was a great deal.

I picked up an '82 sc for around the same price this year that had been sitting for almost 4 years in a garage. Your '76 S looks awesome, love the white. Glad you're getting it back on the road!

Already in the Process. The rest of my brake hoses and lines came finally came in. I also had to replace the right front caliper.
