991.2 Build With Manual
OOPS! Sorry, I am new here. I just realized this was posted to the air/oil cooled area. I didn't mean to sully your forum. I don't know how to delete or move it.
I just ordered my car on Monday. It won't be delivered until December and I am already chomping at the bit. It's been awhile since I have had a car built as I can usually find what I want on the lot. In this case, inventory was so incredibly low in the DC area with no manual transmissions available. In fact, there aren't many manuals in the entire country. I understand that the PDK is fantastic, and it seems most owners want it by a huge margin. Or are the manuals the first ones off the lot?
I wonder if people drive the PDK because they can't drive a manual, or because they want to eek every last drop of performance that they can by using it?
That's the rendering of my new car below.

IMO, a lot of people get the PDK either because of a long and nasty commute, or because it's faster on the track. That said, I find the manual to be more fun to drive, especially with the Porsche Sport Exhaust.
What does your option sheet look like? Did you get a good deal by ordering?

Can't wait for pictures. I think the Manual vs. PDK has a lot to do with people's locations; of course auto enthusiasts will order a manual no matter their location.
