Down here we call those the Canadian Rockies, eh. We are forecast to see about half a foot above 9000 ft on Wed-Thurs. Might even see a dusting here at the house at 5500.

I caught a flight to Alberta to get the car on monday.
After kicking the tires and checking the oil, i hit the highway and headed for home. About a 1000kms journey.
The car is an older restoration and shows well but has been in storage for too long.
Basically i gave her a big shakedown on the trip home
First issue was the noise coming from transmission. Each time the throttle is applied a rotational metal on metal sound appears. Very annoying. A high pitch grinding noise of some sorts.
Second issue was the starting motor. It died at my lunch stop. Had to push start the car to get her going. And had to leave it running for the rest of the day at gas stops.
third issue was the windsheild wiper. Hit a patch of rain and the wiper blade fell off.... lol
fourth issue was the speedo which started flickering the needle... I guess sustained speeds of 90mph freaked it out!
The final issue was the aftermarket seats. Too narrow for my fat ***... 10 hours were harder then it had to be...
In all, the car handled 90mph very well and the heater worked great.
Window regulators are a little stiff and the car has no seat belts!
I am looking forward to sorting the car and getting it back on the road.
This is a bad *** little long hood and is a blast to drive!

I will be looking for correct parts to get this car up to it's full potential.
Looking for correct wheels, seats, rocker trim, rear deck lid, radio, tools, jack and spare.
