Default Valuation on 75 911s Coupe

Guys don't post much but I am way out of my element on this one, 356 and back or 996 and beyond I am fine but air-cooled and 911 and I don't mix.

Local couple in their 70's approached me though a church friend and I have ended up with a 75 911S coupe in my driveway. I did not buy it but they asked me to sell it for them as I have as they say "all those old cars."

Its a 75 911S silver anniversary edition coupe with 136K on the clock, they bought it in the late 70's. Still has the pink slip and the note payoff book from 81. Run's and drives nice, stops well, steering is wonderful. Recently went through by Deiter's Porsche in San Diego to make it safe.

Few issues, rip on seat, paint was redone in 81-83 range but very well. Lots of knicks and scratches in the paint but no rust that I can find anywhere. It basically has lived in a garage in San Diego for the last 25 years.

Any idea on value, they got offers from people walking by the garage at 25K a few times but honestly it could be a 15K car or it could be 40K and I would not know the difference. I could price a 356 within 1K but this is so not me.

Things that don't work.
Odometer just died like 100 miles ago but in 1997 or so. Battery light is on the dash at all times. Turn signals will cause a few of the gauges to jump around. Everything on the interior needs to be pulled out if you want perfect. Rear applique is broken. I swear the gas in the tank is leaded. RUns a little high on RPM until its warmed up.

Good things.
All records back to original, original owners manual, no rust, title in hand and never been hit its entire life.

Any idea on pricing for a quicker sale. I would really like to get this thing out of my driveway but get them a good price for it. I have the original OEM tires and silver anniversary edition wheels plus the 993 ones.

Id say at 25 k as is, it should move quickly and let someone else fix it up.
Bet it doesn't need much.
With some work it would be worth more. I'd post pics with the original wheels.

Yes totally put the right wheels on it. Agree that 25k sounds reasonable.

OK so I am better at pricing them then I though.

Going to put it up on the classifieds and hope it goes soon. I could use the space and honestly the owner just wants to see it restored.
