My 3.6 sounds glorious. The only real down side (for me) is that it is too loud, and difficult to get quieter because the oil reservoir is in the way of where 993 mufflers would go. There just ain't much room back there.

A 3.6 swap in 2016 is a very pricey endeavor. Many balk at something like an LS or STi swap, and I understand their reasons, but for less money, you can wind up with more power and a modern transmission.

Certainly affects resale, but still probably less than the cost of rebuilding/installing a 3.6...But if you don't like V8s or turbo fours...
