Default late model flag mirror glass differences

For the late cars with the flag-style mirrors where the glass is held in place by the ring that is turned perhaps 10 degrees to hold and release the glass PET lists 4 part numbers:

944 731 035 02 - "mirror glass"
944 731 035 04 - "mirror glass plan" - under model it states (S)
944 731 035 03 - "mirror glass convex"
944 731 035 05 - "mirror glass convex" - under model it states (S)

I understand the difference between flat/plan and convex but any ideas what the "(S)" is referring to?

Fascinating - any idea what would be different for the Swedish market?
