Default 911 exhaust system smog question
Does anyone know if this exhaust system will pass smog in California. I have a 1985 911. Basically it's a cat install at the end of the exhaust tip (See pictures) Any feedback are welcome.

NO. anything BEFORE the catalytic converter must be factory or come with a CARB EO number.

So, if that system has a CARB Approved EO#, then yes, it should pass. My guess: NOPE.

Regardless of visual, putting a cat after a muffler it will never get hot enough to work.

My SC passes with SSI's and no cat. Luckily they never do the visual - actually, they look under the car everywhere except for the rear
