Default Porsche have just homologated Pirelli tyres 215/60WR15 CN36 N4

Hi

This new tyre is effectually not a new tyre, in that is was OE in the '70s. I beleive since 1969 when the CN36 became available.

Anyway Pirelli now make a 185/70WR15 CN36 N4 and a 215/60WR15 CN36 N4 for your cars.

Hey Dougal is this for europe exclusivly? In Canada, Pirelli has repeatedly told me they "do not make" the 15" N2 tires suitable for the back and fronts of a 3.2. Funny that, Tirerack sells them..... Cheers

And it was awful then. Only redeeming feature that we were able to retread the carcass, and end up with something maybe 80% of a Michelin XWX.

Thankfully Yokohama hit the ground running in 1983 in introducing R compound tires. (Yes, I was skeptical. Until about lap 2 of my first session out.)

You never know on an out lap, right? This was a 185/70-13 on a Showroom Stock RX7, coming from Goodyear Eagle GTs that we had to shave within a ____ hair of their life (and blessing of tech).

I don't think I even got to an R compound on a 911 for a couple of years, until the A008R came out. Customer cast off P7s were about all I could afford when I was 21.

Massive companies like Pirelli may well have different policies from one country to another. You can however get them off our web site here https://www.borrani.com/pirelli-tyre...i-cn36-n4.html. These are N4 CN36 not the P6000 N2

We ship http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...-classic-tyres & http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/pirelli-cinturato to Canada free of shipping charges, It takes about a week.

These N4 tyres are coming through in dribs and drabs. I just have a few of the 215/60WR15 CN36 N4, and am hoping for more in July

i have run out of the N4 CN36 185/70WR15 https://www.borrani.com/pirelli-tyre...o-cn36-n4.html tyres, but i have just had an email from Pirelli that i am getting another small delivery this afternoon, all being well, and half of them are already sold. so i hope to be getting more soon.

i do however still have stock of the original tyres 185/70VR15 Cinturaato CN36 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...cinturato.html

Just on the subject of quality here is a German article about the CN36 doing a modern tyre test on them. The results are fantastic

Dougal Cawley,

You need to be a sponsor to sell on Rennlist. Please PM me.

I just saw that you have a number of For Sale threads. I'm going to delete them and can resume them once you have paid for a sponsorship.

how does the CN36 feel and perform vs. the Dunlop Direzza? (which are not that great to begin with)

or is the CN36 mainly to satisfy the concoursmobile crowd?

Does anyone have a picture of their car on the new CN36 N4 tyres.

these 2 pictures are of a car owned by one of the Octane magazine staff writters. this is his car with the standard 185/70VR15 CN36 Cinturato tyres that we had produced before the N4 batch
