carpet wet+P0057+p0161+oil pressure gauge
howdy folks.
sold my client a 2004 911 C2 Manual with 129k mi ... other than a misfire (which was remedied with plugs, and coils) he has already taken the vehicle on a 1,000 mile roady, no problems, except for the following:
He left the vehicle outside in the heavy rain... the roof has a small leak, so the carpet got wet. On his way back home (500 mile trip).. his oil pressure gauge started to act up ... going dead, coming back to life, then fluctuating... also, he got the p0057 and p0161 trouble codes ... i'm trying to help him find the best, most inexpensive solution. From your experience, are these wiring related issues (having to do with the moisture inside the vehicle) or should he look at replacing the oil pressure switch and downstream o2 sensor?
thank you, kindly ...
