Exclamation Seach for exactly this Porsche 911 (930) / Germany

Hello everyone,

my name is Alex and I'm from germany.
I'm searching for the old porsche 911 (930) from my deceased father.
I already searched for this vehicle here in germany, but without any results.
So maybe the car was sold in the United States and now I'm trying to get some information about it.
The car was sold in the 80s. I want to buy it back because it means so much to me.
I don't have any information about the car, just these two 2 pictures, which are taken in 1985.

So if anyone has information about this car, please reply to me.
Thanks for your help, Alex

Alex,
If you search through German records will the registration from your father appear? Maybe then you could find the VIN and possibly a little more information about the car.

Was it a 3-liter Turbo with a later added 3.3 liter Turbo tail? The front seats look like earlier '74-77 style. Cool graphics!

Yes what would the equivalent of DMV be in Germany? Dig through old records to get the VIN at least.

Probably a 3-liter Turbo since it has 15 inch Fuchs that don't fit on the '78/79 3.3 liter Turbo larger finned brake calipers w/ floating rotors.

Alex,
Try posting on Pelican 911 and 930 forum - a lot more users there.

And to buy that car back you probably need a suitcase full of money these days. Even if you find it and the owner is wiling to part with it.

Hi guys,

first of all, thank you for your information. :-)

That's the problem. At the moment I don't have the FIN of this car.
Next week, I'll have an appointment with the old insurance agency.
Maybe they could look in there system and give me some more information about this car.
- Alex
