I've heard Sloan is a lawyer.

wow, wire is 6 months late? you know even walmart is not net 180 days....
sloan is a big name. and for that small amount of money he wants to ruin the brand he built up over decades....

oh well.

he offered to sell my 4.0 several years ago. i looked at his proposal, i decided it's less painful if i just go hump a redwood while sitting on cactus.

Its a pity we don't have a sticky dealer experience thread on this forum, still kudos to rennlist as they don't have a problem with naming & shaming - most others do.

Multiple times I emailed them inquiring about specific cars on their website and never received a reply.

Not hard, just don't give up the title to the buyer. Say he's in breach of contract and be done with it. What is he going to sue you for - lost profit? on $5K?

What if your car was sold to "a known person" for $80 grand? Then said known person flips it for it's true value and profits a quick $20g +. All kinds of ways to rob us blind.

Let's see how he will "make it right" after his mistake. Please keep us posted.

Is this your $80k car ?

OP posts a thread on May 9th after many months of not hearing anything...then all of a sudden he gets paid.....yea, Sloan is reading this thread you betcha.

Quick google search.....

Depending on state, small claims will net very little against the price of a car...I think CA is $5k

It's really hard to believe they sold a 36k mile RSA for only $80k in December 2015. They took $70k off their asking price. Give me a break.

Hopefully this thread works as such, for anyone searching Sloan Car for info, as they consider buying or selling through them. OP deleted his original post, but the electrons are still here in a reply.
