Hi, I am new here but have been looking for sometime without joining in

I have put a thread up already without any replies so I thought I would try again!

I am trying to get a guide price for a 74-80 sports seat in black leather in really nice working condition with a some patina

I have one and I am trying to decide on whether to sell or wait (however long it takes) to find another

Its a drivers side seat of a RHD car

Try posting this on Pelican forum also, these are in high demand. I just had a pair restored and considered buying singles to make a pair. I would say $1000. If someone has the other side chances are they are looking to complete the pair and have them restored so as long as the sliders/cables/latches work well most people will look at that as a core. Good luck, those are great seats!

Agree with jmorski it is worth at least $1000, if not more. Seems to be one of those items for older aircooled Posches that are near impossible to find even at the large salvage places that advertise in Pano.

Thanks guys - I also have an 81-84 leather seat in almost immaculate condition - what do you think that's worth?

You guessed it I have two mismatched seats and trying to make a pair!

Apparently rule of thumb is older = more expensive, so maybe 10-15% less if both are in the same condition.
