*** UPDATE ON PAGE 2*** Few Gratuitous pics of my M491 Backdate
Lot of work has gone into this over the last two years including back to metal respray, engine & transmission out and overhauled etc etc etc!
It's a UK Supersport known as the M491 in the States. 3.2, no power steering, no AC, some nice touches here and there (FAR too many to list) and is by far my favorite car i've owned over the last few years!
I have loads of build pics on another forum, so if ppl are interested i can post them up but the end result should suffice!
Old vid before i started the mods - car sounds absolutely phenomenal:

That thing is just so fine. Love the duck, the houndstooth, the Fuchs with silver petals. (Are those 17s? Who sells those lovelies?) Super minor nit: I never understood the missing wheel center, though I know the RSRs went without.
The diamond-patterned trunk gives a great 'Singer-ized' look too.
Really excellent work. Tell us about the engine: hotted up or stock or ?
Great job.

Love the Frunk treatment. Whats under the covers behind the strut brace? Looks similar to a 964, but in those car the fuel tank is back there. On earlier cars that area is typically open. Care to share what's under those covers?
Amazing car by the way! Stunning. And I love you comment that it is perfection in your eyes as it. That is the way these projects should be....personal expressions of our love for Porsche!

I've had a picture of your car saved to my hard drive (for over a year) as an example of what I'd do to my M491 if I went the IROC bumper route. I love the look of your car - it looks SO TUFF! Please post up some build pictures. It would be great to see the build.
