Nice job. There are a few other period sports cars that would like a shot at that, depending on how deep you want to dive into different horn button options.
The prices on period steering wheels and radios always kind of shocks me; one will be $75 and another will be $750, varying only in details. Curious on price point as well, but I guess that depends on volume of interest.

For me Alcantara looks all wrong in a classic 911 so would prefer a nicer leather (than standard prototipo) like the original item.
I totally agree. An ideal custom wheel for me would be all-black prototipo with little bit more dish and nice looking black leather horn button with pressed Porsche crest logo on it.
For the horn button, as this seems to be a very similar consensus across the board, what would you like it to be replaced with?
I think most of the feedback suggests a thicker wheel is the main desire, while the horn button is secondary. Besides, lots of options on customizing the horn button to taste later. Leather option would also be nice.
I like exactly what you have mocked up. I'd get the grey stitching if it came between that and white. Black would be even better. For the horn button, I'd love to see the word PORSCHE in block letters/Porsche font.
370-380mm, leather, a bit thicker but not so thick as Magnus's wheel, stitching in 3 or 4 colors tops, horn button with a newly designed logo, and last but not least...FLAT like the classic Prototipos of the 60s and early 70s.
