I'm taking a local buddy down there tomorrow to pick up some parts after a visit to the C&C. Figured we'd pay here a visit while we are there.

Well, that "it's a Targa" was once one of the "1%" of 911's.

Man, this is sad to see.

Well she's still wrapped up nice inside the shop. Has seats, full suspension, and wheels. Someday the right buyer will stumble in.

I was nearby yesterday. I'm glad I hopped on the I15 and fled east immediately. I'm an impulse buyer.

And I've got the........oh wait. But I do have a high dollar stock near-zero mile 3.2 rebuild, and any number of 915 boxes.

I actually moved where all of Ruby's innards ended up in the form of the '73 "RS" yesterday, in anticipation of hauling it up to my cousin for completion. As I'll never get to it. But he's now sidetracked with this '69E.

Funnyism, or is it sad, on the whole thing is how far we've come. Shortly after I bought the car, before the part out obviously, I drove it over to the Partshaven swap meet. Guy is practically chasing me down the street to say he was going to buy the car, but his top offer was in the $13K range.

What a shame to see Ruby effectively parted out.

Uh oh... I have someone who really wants my '74....Has anyone done a back of the napkin estimate on getting this on the road? By on the road I mean rat rod - street legal DE /racer.
Off the top I'm smelling 15k for core engine & trans, 5k for core suspension and another 5k for giggles and bits...how far off am I?
