When I lived in LV in the 90s, I used to commute daily in my '73T from Henderson out to Summerlin. It had A/C, but it wasn't worth a damn so I took it out. Dropped the oil temperature significantly (probably from improving airflow, taking that radiator off the rear decklid grill) and took a few pounds off the back. Ran great. I had a 3.0 in it (the original 2.4 was a bitch to keep smogged). I usually went to work early so it was pretty comfortable driving then. Where I worked had some covered parking, so as long as I scored a covered spot at lunch, which I usually could, the drive home wasn't too bad.

I had friend who owned a '70 911T shortly in Reno, NV, He complained about the temperature, too bad his car didn't have A/C. He sold it off not long after he acquired it ........I love the classic American cars and the Mustang is my favorite, even though I am forever loyal to Porsches.

My father in law lives in Vegas. His first house there had a spa with a chiller. Yes, an above ground spa, with a chiller. It absorbed so much ambient heat that you had to cool the water down to get into it. Nuts!!!
