I'm trying to make sense out of my VIN & engine # and no luck. Is it weird that my car only has 12 digits (080125241182 )? & I've got no clue what's going on with the engine code (63D1063). Would somebody mind helping me out with these numbers as I would like to know more about the car I've purchased. Thank you for the help, its greatly appreciated.

That is an 1983 SC 3.0l engine. That is not a vin. The vin should start with WPO.
