Do you mean inside?
The black handle is just that, a handle to pull the door closed, the red strap is the door release.
Think of the stock door "handles" plus the latch you pull to open.

They won't survive very much street use, but I had them already! Anybody want a set of 16" speedlines?

yes. it was just poor observation on my part. i completely missed the fact that there was no latch to open the door in what i thought i was seeing.

Uh, R Gruppe.......... I'm definitely on the outside, not caring to look in anymore. (Too much to type here from the pre-Cris-meets-Freeman to birth the actual R Gruppe days. Suffice it to say I was one of the original 10 or so, though I'd moved to AZ and was of little use when the idea was first hatched locally in the late '80s after a few years gestation.)
I could put you in contact with Cris, or maybe there are other web resources to allow you to hunt down the what's what. But your car is certainly worthy in my book given any/all of: rare model, long ownership, full use, and fantastic restoration.

The sheet metal is 100% original. The car is real '75 Carrera. I'm going to put on 18" wheels eventually just to get decent street rubber, but these are REAL magnesium center BBS race wheels customs made for this car. Fronts are 8x16 and the rears are 9x16! Super light and now rare!

Turbo big reds. How to fit inside 16" wheels, hmmm. Ancient Chinese secret. And a set of custom for the car 3 piece BBS wheels. Built by former BBS pres John Slagle in their Road Atlanta office/warehouse. I like them but VERY delicate for street.

I have 993 c2s brakes on mine. Both my wheels are custom 17" sets.
Can you show me how you snuck in the mcs resoviors inside the car. Front and rear. What about the reservoir holders? Where did you find them?

The front reservoirs, not a trick. I already had reservoirs size holes in the fenders from when it was a track car, if you look close you can see the carbon covers, The rears snake up through the engine compartment rear seal.
It took a bunch of internet time to find the reservoirs holders. I found them at a CA off-road/4X4 company, they worked perfect! But don't remember their name
You can see the carbon cover just at the top right of the caliper.
Look close at the left side, you can just barely see the cover.
