Dang it, I would love to have some sort of plug n play upgrade for my '88 with the crappy H5s.

Sorry these don't work for you. I think we need to track down an alternative that will work for all you H5 guys and run a promo for it as well. I'll do some digging.

I haven't seen the dapper kit, but you could probably put them in a 911 originally equipped with H5's by swapping out the trim rings and buckets. My '87 has euro H4 lenses with beetle/356 buckets and H4 trim rings.

I'm not sure if it's the correct application, but TRE has a kit. You can inquire to them about their new HID kit here.
