Did 911 "Speedster" logo badges exist in 1989 as OEM on factory-direct, new G-models?

If we were to go back to the year 1989 and look at brand new Speedsters as delivered from the factory, would ANY have a 911 "Speedster" logo badge as OEM on the engine deck-lid?

To corroborate your answer please respond with
- a reference hyperlink to an authoritative website, or
- a photograph of a well-respected book's answer page and its cover, or
- likewise for factory literature published in 1989.
Anyone have Porsche's Speedster advertising from '89 to share?

In the meantime: think I've uncovered the rarely-seen period-correct logo, pictured here on the license plate & the wall
...but only the 964 badges on all engine lids?

This factory brochure printed in 1988 makes no mention of emblems and has a badge-less G-model.

The only printed Speedster logo is the 356's, to immediately tie the newest 911 to Porsche's established superstar.

This Road & Track review published in 1989 shows a badge-less engine cover.

The 2011 (997) Speedster sales literature features a photo of a G-model with a Carrera badge.

TREND so far:
No evidence from anything published circa 1989 &/or by Porsche themselves of an OEM 911 Speedster emblem.

A fellow RLer is a Speedster expert & author.

In his book, "Porsche Speedster" published by Berlin Motor Books, RLer Speed-Star (Andreas Gabriel) has many gorgeous photographs of G-models circa 1989 at the factory.

They consistently have bare deck-lids or a Carrera badge, & the 1989 logo in post #16 is on the license plate of one G-model (see back cover photo, below).

Notice the period-correct G-model Speedster logo in the title of this book, pictured in his ad

Perhaps scans of key pages would prove conclusive.

Good eye for textual curves there! The first letter is the giveaway.

Below is a blow-up of the Speedster font, as it appears on the license plate in the dot-printed period brochure. Or of course, in post #20 above.

Note that it is more reminiscent of the earlier Porsche font, and is slightly different from the badge font used on the '94 Speedster.

'89 Speedsters have plastic emblems on their engine deck-lids that are not standardized in placement: some are higher or lower than others, & the badge is the same as the 964 Speedster's
...or a 'Carrera' badge

If we were to go back to the year 1989 and look at brand new Speedsters as delivered from the factory, would ANY have a 911 "Speedster" logo badge as OEM on the engine deck-lid?
This overachiever combines both badges:

Notice how variable badge placement is (high, medium, very high, etc.).
As if there's no OEM factory standard, & badges were applied by hand using personal preference as to where the logo should be.

Drooping with age?

So embarrassed the car hasn't even dried its tears?

'89 period-correct logo, pictured here on the license plate
...of a rare narrow-body:

Exclamation Custom badge made?

Don't be distracted by chrome rollbars, windshield removal, polished Fuchs, helmet, etc:
Look closely at 'Speedster' font for subtle yet significant difference from every other badge on this thread...

Only '89 I've ever seen wearing a deck-lid emblem of the proper G-model logo in Porsche's correct '89 italic script!
