Best Tire Size - Michelin TB15
I have an '88 narrow body that I'm restoring and I bought new wheels that are 7x15 for the front and 8x15 for the back.
What is the right Michelins TB15 tire size that I can have without any rubbing?
A lot of threads and comments about them, but I still couldn't figure out the right size that I need....
Thanks.

18/60 - 15 TB is spec'd for a 6-7.5" wheel you could use it in front and it will strecth to fit on the 8 in back in metric speak it is a 215/55 x15 tire.
My '76 C3 came w/ 7 & 8 x15 w/ 205/50 & 225/50 tires, that would be a good choice today too
alternate sizes for those wheels, 205/55 in front, 225/45 in back

In the last 6 years I've owned my 3.2 (equipped with 15" 7&8") I'd never found a suitable Michelin tire. My car is currently equipped with Pirelli P6000 (N2) tires from the Tirerack. They drive very well but are definitely narrower than any other tire I've ever had on the car...and by far, the most expensive. If I'm not mistaken the owners manual for the car specifies the size the Pirellis are offered in. I believe they are 195 fronts and 215 rear. Before this set I ran (like Bill says) 205 front and 225 rear in BFG G-Force tires (decent tire but no longer available) and found them to drive well and fill the wheel well nicely with no rubbing. Cheers

Are you only looking at Michelin TB15s? If so, why? Plenty of other choices available in correct 25" RD fitments.
