5 years ago this would have been crazy money for that car .. But in todays market although the car is a little rough that actually seems like a pretty good deal if all checks out.

wonder what my targa would be worth these days .. well,,, if the engine was actually in it and not in pieces in my laundry room .

Agreed! A few years ago, I bought mine for $17k w/ 76k on the clock! Also had all mods on it already, other than Duel output, chip, short throw and H4s. I bet I can ask close to $40k today, still didn't break 80k yet.

well to be honest Sarge taking off that turbo tail and adding a nice Carrera tail was probably 15 K of that added value

The biggest "if" I see is whether or not the cylinder head studs had time certs installed during the "top end overhaul". Otherwise a nice example of a IB Targa.
