Default Engine drop restart procedure 89 3.2

Hi guys, It's been a journey - especially for this novice - but after dropping engine and trans to replace clutch and a bunch of other things "while I was in there", I am very near ready to try to fire her up. I pulled fuse 6 which reads fuel pump, but wanted to know based on your experience what other precautions I might take while I get the oil pressure up. I know I read a post on this in the past but I can't find it. Thanks

With no fuel pump that's all you need. Remember. Do not over crank. I'd go 20 seconds max a few times letting starter cool between. Then pop in the fuse and go

Make sure you put oil in.

I added 8 quarts to start with. Was thinking about adding a 9th quart for first start then bring it up as required after warm up. I'll follow that suggestion Ice. Thanks.

No rides yet. Had issues with clutch pedal not returning. Blead out hydraulics another time and had a good look at the cluster and the adjustment cam. Clutch master cylinder making ugly noises but no leaking. Decided to replace it, so.... Waiting for a part (again). Hopefully get her on the road in another week or so.
