Default 84-89 3.2L MAF done correctly is now available.

I'm just starting to see if folks have interest in a properly done MAF setup for the 84-89 3.2L cars. I've worked on this complete system for years with considerable time spent re-writing the entire air fuel portion of the software in the DME. The MAF signal is processed by the software in it's native form. This is NOT a MAF pretending to mimic a AFM signal.

I'll save the time explaining as it's already document with dyno comparison over in this thread:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...f-project.html

Enjoy.

Glancing through, did I see that 3.4L was supposed to make 270HP? That's spot on with the engine I pulled out of Ruby, per Ed's dyno sheet. Still has the flapper box.

This one made 249HP at the wheels, like 290HP at the crank. But be aware it was dynoed at 5000' elevation and SAE corrections applied. May be a tad optimistic but the before (with AFM and stock chip) vs after with MAF system runs show serious hi-RPM gains with the MAF that can't be ignored.
Here's the dyno results:

My personal car a 3.2L Euro with mods very much like that 3.4L has dynoed at 230HP at the wheels at sea level. About 270HP at the crank.

Read these old Rennlist threads which indicate that a MAF mod provides a marginal at best improvement:

Loren, I don't care to comment on old threads for other MAFs that are not mine. This S-CAR MAF system I designed from ground up over the past 8 years has demonstrated significant gains go look at the thread on Pelican it has side by side dyno results and more to come. This is not just a MAF conversion, I never claimed that, it's a complete system designed carefully with top notch products! Note the title of this post, it does not say MAF conversion.

Please see the results, this system works and works well.

Here's another S-CAR MAF system I just finished up.

This one is 3.4L twin plug at 10.5:1 compression. A street setup with tons of low end torque!
