Fraudulent eBay Listing
Do not bid on this car!!! These pix were taken in my driveway last Fall. The car now resides in the garage of a good guy. Communicated earlier with him and he has no intention of selling.
Reported to ebay and hope they bust this POS.

This is what the POS wrote me when I inquired about the car:
Hello,
The car is located in Florida. Where are you located? I don't want to waste your time and you should know that my final price $19.500. I will complete the transaction only through eBay. I can arrange shipping in this amount. Please let me know.
Thank you,
Paul Schlacter

It will be interesting to see what action (if any) eBay takes...
I once reported a glaring example of shill bidding (with last day bid retractions to boot) to eBay. I am not one to "jump the gun", but this was so crystal clear. I sent screen captures as well, figuring this was a slam dunk. Nothing seemed to happen, seller was still active.
I think eBay talks tough about scammers, but is really a little soft.
This example presented here is really bad. That is a lovely car and I can't imagine that the seller's would be as nice... (assuming he is even actually selling a white SC with Cancan interior...
Is other data (such as the VIN and mileage) the same as the car in the photos too?

This was my old car. Same mileage. Same pix. Same VIN. Very disturbing that eBay still has not removed the listing.
And yes, a friend in Oxford, CT, was trying to help sell the car for me at one point. He even listed these exact pix on ebay last fall. All those photos are from my driveway that I sent to my buddy.
This POS scammer stole those photos. I've sent him a few cease and desist emails as has my bro, but have heard nothing in return.

According to Ebay:
In most cases, a bid on eBay is a legally binding contract between the buyer and the seller. Due to state laws and the complexities of real estate and vehicle transactions, bids in those categories are non-binding.
We should have some fun with this POS fraud.

I just got a response from Fleabay...nothing they can do to stop the auction or even question the seller. The reps advice is the winning bidder should not pay this seller for the car before they actually see the car in person...hahaha! No ****! I'm done with Ebay...the shills, now the fake sellers...done!
